I have just finished a block of long steady rides of 6-6 1/2 hours in duration each with a day or two of recovery in between depending upon the sensation. These rides have allowed me to explore some new roads and see more of this area. More recently the almond blossom has flourished giving a snow carpet of delicate pinks and white to the valleys, truly beautiful. With such views to admire riding up the long cols is a doddle!
<dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
<dc:rights></dc:rights>
<dc:type>News Item</dc:type>

It is certainly a huge advantage to be here as I see the forecast for Belgium and England; 'rain and wintery showers'. Indeed my preferred place for training in England, the Cotswolds, seems to be underwater in many places. Some of my favourite picturesque villages and towns such as Tewksbury and Upton upon Severn are regularly featuring in the news. I am not sure how badly Belgium is being hit but however that might be I am convinced that being here is the best for my training.
<dc:publisher>No publisher</dc:publisher>
<dc:rights></dc:rights>
<dc:type>News Item</dc:type>
