For Team FBUK, 2006 has been a huge year. The transition from UK club team to the top level of professional cycle sport has not been easy, but with a lot of hard work, it has been a very successful one.
In order to make 2007, Team FBUK have set about the task of finding not only a new title sponsor for 2007, but also to develop its sponsorship base throughout Europe to help support its truly global team for next season.

Throughout a season of professional racing, teams use several thousand bottles and this can put a huge drain on team resources. So with the generous support of Andrew Holyoake of BottleSport Team FBUK no longer have to worry about this area for 2006 and 2007 and can concentrate on other areas.
Team FBUK very aware of the need to drink the right amount during races and training following their resent links with the Salt Manufacturers' Association, so this area of sponsorship is very important to the team.
Team Manager Stefan Wyman said, ‘This sponsorship is the first of many new sponsors for Team FBUK. The hard work of 2006 looks to have been very worth while and with a new team look and team name for 2007, the team should be able to take another huge step forward. The sponsorship from BottleSport is very generous and I hope the team can repay their faith in us with some good results through the winter in cyclo-cross and on the road next year’.
Andrew Holyoake of BottleSport added, “We are pleased to be associated with team FBUK and women’s cycling as this is one of a number of high profile cycle sport teams that we will be sponsoring in 2007. An increasing amount of our product sales are from within the cycling market and to show our commitment to the sport, we will continue to invest in cycle sport in order to increase our brand name and awareness”.
