Twilight Criterium won by Kristin Armstrong

The former time trial World Champion Kristin Armstrong showed no mercy on the field in the Twilight Criterium in Boise (USA) and won easily the 50-minute race for the second time in three years. She beat runner-up Nichole Wangsgard by 1 minute and 11 seconds.

"I was riding to train, and I wanted to stay safe so I stayed out in front," said the 34-year-old Armstrong, who leaves to Beijing in two weeks. "This was awesome. The crowd was really big, it was a safe course. Everything went really well."
