Second place for Patricia Schwager
Yesterday, for the first time the GP Mobilar/GP Aaretal, a national race in Switzerland, took place under sunny weather in Kirchdorf nearby Berne. The competition was carried out as a handicap race, what means that the juniors started with a time advantage to the amateur riders and the amateur started with an advantage to the elite racer.
After 5 from 8 rounds of the total race distance of 70,4 km, the elite racers had compensate the 1.30min start handicap. Patricia Schwager and Sereina Trachsel were the strongest racers in the chase of the amateur riders. At the end Trachsel claimed victory 15 seconds ahead of Schwager. The third place took Eva Haueter.
