National title for Christiane Soeder
Christiane Soeder (AUT) from Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team won today the time trial of the Austrian national championships. The 33-year-old Soeder claimed victory in her general rehearsal for the World Championships on Wednesday in Varese (ITA) with a clear advantage of 3:42 min to Monika Schachl on the 24km course from Stadtschlaining to Bad Tatzmannsdorf. It was her fifth title in a row.
Armstrong racing the Giro della Toscana
Olympic Champion Kristin Armstrong from Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team is also preparing her intensively for the World Championships in Varese. The US-American is racing this week the Giro della Toscana in Italy. After the third stage, Armstrong was on the 12th position in the ove all ranking, just 40 seconds behind the current leader Judith Arndt (GER).
