Overall victory for Armstrong

Kristin Armstrong (USA) from Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team controlled the sixth and last stage of the 2008 Cascade Cycling Classic in Oregon/USA und sealed the overall victory with nearly 6 minutes advantage to Christine Thorburn (USA).

It was already the third overall victory in a competition series in this year after the success at the Women’s Tour of New Zealand and the Nature Valley Grand Prix.

The stage victory in the last race took Amber Rais (USA) ahead of Armstrong. On third position finished Gina Grain (CAN), 2,56min behind the winner.

As next on the race schedule of the Cervélo-Lifeforce Pro Cycling Team is the “Internationale Thüringenrundfahrt” of the women’s from 22nd to 27th of July.
