Team Flexpoint without pressure to Giro by Geert Broekhuizen — last modified 05-07-2007 00:17
Manager Jean-Paul van Poppel has no nervousness for the Giro Donne, which will start with a prologue on Friday. Buty that's no sign of less sharpness, there is just no pressure because we have already won two beautiful stage races with Susanne Ljungskog, the Emakumeen Bura and the Tour de L'Aude, in comparison with the previous years. Therefore we have no stress. "Nevertheless we still have ambitions. Van Poppel: "I'm satisfied if we can reach the podium spot and can gain a stage. Last year we succeed in that with Susanne Ljungskog. She lost the Giro in the final 500 meter of the race to Edita Pucinskaite."
